Turkish Restaurant is an icon of the Iraqi Revolution, a time when the people took it to their own hands to record video footage of the Revolution starting Oct 2019.  It is also recently received the nickname of the modern Mountain of Uhud  The History of the building was built in the 70's by an Indian Company with help of Iraqi Engineers.  The building held International Businesses and at the top, there was a world-class Turkish restaurant.  However when the Gulf War started many of the businesses including the world-class restaurant have closed, although it maintained the name afterwords.  In 2003 when the Americans came to Iraq, this building was also used as a way of rebellion to the American invasion.  The American tanks at the time have shot the building with radioactive material and it has killed everyone in the building. Ever since the building has been abandoned and it is unsafe to be at due to its radiation.  The building has been an Icon at Tahrir Freedom Square, a symbol of unity of the people of Iraq where it has announced the end of sectarianism, unity, and collaboration of the Iraqi people as a whole.
